It is extremely hard to hate a parent no matter how horrible their actions are you still love them, they are still your parents. Glad you finished, it was great.

So, knowing how much you LOVE the theme of 'Change', I immediately knew this chapter was going to be golden. I'll be honest: I absolutely *adored* the ship scene. There was something about the way you wrote Isabela in it...I can't explain it, besides it just being spot on. Just the right amount of *everything* pertaining to her reactions; I very much enjoyed the negotiation of it (and the christening as well).
But, throughout the entire chapter, I liked how 'Change' was addressed between varying subtle and overt hues through each scene, painting a very lovely portrait of where Isabela and Hawke are at the end - very nicely done. And, well worth the wait.

Love it. Especially the ending.

I have greatly enjoyed reading your story and am sad to see it come to an end. Great ending, btw. I look forward to the epilogue.

I hope you'll write a jealous Isabela in the epilogue- you know it'll be cute.
