I can understand why you would think writing a chaptered fic for this alternate timeline would be daunting. It is kind of depressing to know you're writing a story for a couple where the main guy is going to die, and the world is going to turn all apocalyptical, and yeah . . . you know what I mean.

Still, this was an interesting take. I definitely got the 'this isn't going to turn into a real relationship' vibe from the Vegeta in this story, which is good, since we know that Bulma admits to Trunks it was just a passion thing and it never worked out because Vegeta couldn't admit he loved her (and then died).

Anyway, I enjoyed this.
