Nice chapter, really liked this one. I could see one single spelling mistake, I think you meant tactic, not tack-tic.

Overall, awesome job and keep to up. Normally, I don't go in for character bashing but...I think Harry's an exception for me, as is the entire cast of Twilight. Frankly, I'd be surprised if he didn't develop a swelled head after so many years of fame..or infamy...still, you get the idea.

I think you've gotten the Wizarding grades wrong. As I understand it, the top grade is O (Outstanding), then comes E (Exceeds Expectations), A (I think Acceptable), P (Poor), D (Dreadful) and then T (Troll). I suspect that Draco's Arithmancy grades would then be as follows: the B would become an E and the A would become an O. Unless, of course, you're just choosing to deviate from cannon here. I'm not sure, sorry!

Do I detect a note of Harry-bashing? That's okay, I don't particularly care. Besides that, really, most of that is true: His attitude to schoolwork, as far as I can see, is less than serious, he bashes Snape almost subconsciously...while I have a difficult time believing he'd be so self-deluded as to think he'd worked hard to stay on the Quidditch team, I have a hard time believing anyone could be so self-deluded.

I actually quite like the tone of the story. Grammar's mainly good and I have yet to detect a typo.

Before I go further, I apologise from the bottom of my heart if this review sounds cynical or pompous. I don't intend to be condescending but sometimes I come across that way. :( Sorry.

This is such a moving story. I love it and have read it multiple times now. There are quite a few spelling errors littered through it, but they don’t take away from the plot. I especially enjoy seeing the characters act in ways that they normally would not, and no one has painted Harry as such an ass and actually gotten away with it so skillfully. You have done such a wonderful job, and I can’t wait to read more of your work. I do have to ask, did you have specific music you listened to while working on this? The icing on the cake would be, to have a recommended playlist to listen to while listen to while reading. Sorry, I’m rambling. Wonderful job, and thank you for writing such a magnificent piece.

Just read your fanfic again and loved it. I even sent it to a friend of mine. Not to fond of the idea of a gay Snape, but I can tolerate it if the fanfic's written well, and the fanfic was definitely written well. That and Snape and Alastor remind me of this anime couple I'm quite fond of for some reason. One of the reasons I love this fic so much is because whenever I slack off in my school work, I read your fanfic and I'm instantly reminded about how serious I should take it. Even if it wasn't what you had in mind when you wrote the fanfic, you did end up conveying that message.

It was a interesting fic...but frankly, the most OOC character, IMO, wasn't Harry but Hermione. Any Hermy even slightly close to canon would had been all over Harry with blugers the minute he started to neglect his puffleskein, not just make a comment or three, I would think. As well as *drag* him into some kind of study group thing by force if neccesary, in the learning department. Canon-ish Hermy is utterly ruthless when it comes to the important stuff, and this is important. Harry *is* supposed to be one of her best friends, after all...

Alastor Daker reminds me of Eldright from the Sisters of Mercy! And that's a great thing, because that makes him hot and talanted ;) I don't know if you mentioned that in the fic.. ah well, I'll read on now ;)

Good to know things turned out well for everybody ... except poor Albus and Harry, but they did give Harry all the chances they could. ... wait! What happened to Sirius? Was he finally proven innocent? did he stay Harry's friend? ... I wonder what would happen if they had a class meeting and somebody decided to invite Harry ...

Poor Neville! But at least he got the girl. So this is how Harry joined Voldemort! (I never really knew exactly what the scene was like in Harry Potter Hogwarts Caretaker.) ... And I guess now I don't have to worry about Draco knowing about Sevi and Alastor after all. At least Voldemort's no longer around to find out.

I'm slightly surprised at how irresponsible Sirus is behaving, from the books I always got the picture that he's much more strict than Lupin.

No matter though, it was still wonderfull and I'm just dying to know what happens Prof. Dumbledore
