Awww. I love little Obi-Wan stories and this one is so sweet. And your other Star Wars stories are pretty good too! It seems like you've moved on to other fandoms now, but if you ever feel like picking up a Qui/Obi story again, I'd be glad to read it!

My ideas aren't that great, but maybe the mission that left him as devastated as he was... what mace was talking about... and i think when he asks to take him as his padawan would be a good chapter :)

Hi! I hope you'll do more in this series. I haven't read the 'Jedi Apprentice' series, but I've read a few fanfictions that mention some of the things from those books. Obviously, since you would be the one writing the story, the choice is entirely yours, however, I think it might be good if you did put in Xanatos. My suggestion would be that you have Qui-Gon take Obi-Wan as his apprentice soon, and then shortly after, you could have Xanatos set up a trap for them (a trap disguised as a mission, perhaps?). Just an idea. Anyway, please add to this series.

i luv ur fic. its sooooo totally adorable to think of a 7 year old obi wan helping to make qui gon feel better. this is one of the best star wars fanfics i've eve read so keep up the fantastic writing.

i want more. i've only just started reading and writing Star wars fic (though i've been writing for other fandoms for a long time) and this one just seems so perfect.

And finally, in response to your author's note- I think that the use of familar characters would be interersting. It gives us all a good basis, and plus it tends to be easier to have the characters emotions set- but that is me speaking as fellow fanfic writer. However, changing the mission that Xanatos turned would be interesting... I never really liked the original one anyways. If you use established characters like Xanatos, I would suggest having Qui-Gon take Obi-Wan later... but instead of having Qui-Gon be the stubborn... um jerk he was in the JA series, perhaps have him take Obi-Wan after realizing that he is something near the Child of Light, and a complete opposite of Xanatos.

Though I respect Jude Watson's writing... I never liked the way that she had Qui-Gon convinced that every Padawan Learner would turn out like Xanatos... it seemed to illogical. Yes, doubting his teaching skills seems plausible, but everything else...
