i love this novel so much i cannot put it into words. its the slowest burn ive ever read but by god its worth it.

So I discovered this story on Monday, and have been reading the series obsessively up until this point. I don't think you're moving too slowly at ALL, in fact it greatly bothers me when romances develop too quickly. This story is absolutely perfect!
I really really hope Guthwyn marries Cobryn. He's definitely my favorite, and it would hurt me a lot to see her with anybody else. He obviously greatly cares for her, even if he isn't in love with her (... yet). He loves the children just as she does, and he keeps her in line. He tells her what she needs to hear, if not necessarily what she wants to hear. He's always been there for her, protecting her and asking after her welfare. He's the only one who who really has at least some idea of what it was like for her to go through what she did, and he constantly cares for her, even when they argue. She is his first priority.
That being said, I would be very disappointed if Guthwyn married someone else! I have the feeling that she might marry Legolas, and I have to say that would be one of my worst nightmares. I've had over 700,000 words (maybe over 1,000,000?) to fall in love with Cobryn, and gosh darn it he deserves Guthwyn! Don't take that away from me! There are so many fics devoted to Legolas-based romances, and I would be very glad if this one turned out differently! It just seems strange to me that she might develop a relationship with an elf who looks so much like Haldor. Can you imagine how awful that would be to have a husband who looked like your rapist? I sincerely hope you don't have those two marry, since I admire their relationship as friends, but a romantic relationship between those two would immediately make me 90% less interested in this story than I am now. Legolas has been the romantic partner in so many other fics, please keep yours unique! I am just tired of Legolas having all the spotlight.
I admire this series greatly, and I can't believe what an unbelievable amount of time and effort this must have taken. It's definitely my most favorite fanfic I've ever read, especially considering that usually I get bored if they're over 200,000 words. Bravo!
I can't wait until you start updating again in April! I'll be anxiously awaiting new chapters, and good luck with your thesis!

Just wanted to say that I have been steadily reading your series for the past few weeks, and I am so drawn in. You have an amazing talent to creat such a vibrant, dimensional world of new and familiar characters- it really is quite a gift! Looking forward to seeing the next installment!

the plot line is interesting, but is getting a little stale from my perspective?
maybe a bit of a shake up might help? :)

Thanks for updating! It was nice to see Guthwyn's reunion with Eomer and Elfwine. He's such an adorable little kid, and I feel terrible that his parents' marriage is falling apart.

Hmmm, Haiweth is a very curious girl and I hope her curiosity doesn't get her in trouble. I'm worried about Elfwine, I hope his parents get everything sorted out for his sake at least. Thank you so much for the update and I shall be looking forward to the next one.

I started re-reading this entire series a couple of days ago to avoid studying for finals, and just when I get to the end of this, you update again. :D Thank you for the new chapter! It was wonderful.
