Such a sad chapter :( I hate how only Guthwyn and Faramir know the day's significance. Eowyn shouldn't be so harsh on Guthwyn.

On a side note, I hate the maids under Lothiriel. There are only a few actually loyal to Guthwyn.

I love how considerate Legolas is all the time. With the edited story and the constant permission asking. As a friend, he cares a lot for Guthwyn.

Poor Eowyn. I really wish she would know about Faramir and Guthwyn's past-she would understand so much more. On the other hand, it might just drive a wedge between them and force her to choose much as if Guthwyn told Eomer about her relationship with Lothiriel.

It's sad how much Elfwine prefers Guthwyn over his own mother. From what you've written so far, Lothiriel isn't the greatest mother.

I can't imagine what it feels like for your only son to prefer your husband's sister. It's making Lothiriel even more bitter and inclined to hate Guthwyn. I loved the scene bewtween Elfwine and "Leggy." Hahahaha. I read the reply to a reviewer, and I agree. It's ridiculous how fast some characters in other FFs recover.

I love the relationship between Elfwine and Guthwyn. On the other hand, it's making Lothiriel resent Guthwyn more and more.
