Wow! It's a start of an interesting story...I usually prefer to read from my fav. authors but your chapter summary caught my eye and I said "why not?"...anyway, the black vessels remind my of Bubblegum Crisis 2040 or from fushigi yuugi...did you get your ideas from there?
