Momm2five 4/16/02 . chapter 10Oh, this is awesome! I love how you kept Lee's problem in the story but on the back burner until Jamie's was resolved. WOnderful! I'm really REALLY looking forward to the next part! I want to see what is going on with Lee . . . |
 Heart-Pendant 4/16/02 . chapter 10 MH2,
You're going to let us know what's wrong with Lee, right? Please don't leave us hanging...the next segment is coming up, right?
I enjoyed this story. Poor Lee and Amanda...all they go through... |
Barbara Schmidt 4/15/02 . chapter 10 Great - kept you on pins and needles all the way.
What's this week or so stuff. Let's get writing. |
UNCKID 4/14/02 . chapter 10 Overall I thought the Jamie story was pretty good. I have one major complaint...you never finished the story you started. You started out with the Lee part of the story but then you ditched it (for the most part at least) and focused on the Jamie aspect. I have to wonder why you introduced the Lee part to begin with if you didn't plan on finishing it in this story. I know you said there will be a sequel and part of me is looking forward to reading it but I feel incredibly cheated at having to continue to wait for Lee's part. Especially considering, in my opinion at least, Lee's medical condition/problem/whatever it is, is the more intriguing of the two storylines . Personally I thought the two plots would be difficult to do together in one story because of the complexity of each but since that is how you started them I think you cheat the readers by not finishing both plots in one story.
In my opinion it appears as if you got stuck and were unsure of what to do with both plots so you simply stuck with the one that was easier to fix. That's fine for you because you know what you want to do but for readers it can be incredibly frustrating. This is one of the reasons I don't like stories that are posted before the author has completely written the whole thing.
This is just my opinion though. I enjoy your writing and I do hope that you're not going to make us wait very long for some closure with Lee's story. |

Loved this...
Phillip chimed in with, “Yeah. . .what is he wearing?”
Lee and Amanda grinned at each other for a second, then both turned to answer together, “What do you care?”

Nancy 4/14/02 . chapter 10 Aaagh! Okay, calm down - the appointment is 9:00 a.m. a week from today - okay, I read the end of this story on Sunday, April 14 - a week from today - I'll be looking forward to the sequel next Sunday sometime - right? Right? Seriously, this was a fun story even though I was a little frustrated that Lee's problem wasn't discussed more and you haven't said there's going to be a sequel - but I'll defintely be looking for one - Thanks! |
