The variations in time and point of view, the introduction of mysterious elements such as the green-clad stranger, and the hobbits taking part in the tale as a link with the story... it is all so clever and well developed! I hope you will write more of this, it brings a different perspective about the southrons and easterlings and it is a real delight to read. Keep up the good work! |

Somewhere in Tolkeindom I read that some lords of Numenor escaped to the south and ruled there. Is your character the descendant of one of these? Or am I full o crap? (hmmm... maybe it's better if you don't answer that) At any rate, it's an intriguing story, and I hope you continue with it. Ciao, Viv |

Anything that goes where no man has gone before (to quote Star Trek) is a good thing to me. Original ideas are few and far between here in fanfic for obvious reasons. Are you going to continue this one? Or are Hobbits too sleepy that they let Chance Aquaintance be lazy? Very good, very well written. Can't say enough! Elenath sila erin le! |
