You wouldn't believe this but I was looking for a story EXACTLY like this. This is written perfectly, plot smooth and easy to follow, everyone in character regardless of the change of scene. Extremely well written. I've never played piano professionally, but just this fanfic had me searching out lessons again :)

Thank you so much for posting it here, it's exhausting sifting through the kink meme for something with as much quality as this.

Even if you added such a curious twist, the characters still stayed in-character, which can be quite difficult. I commend you for being able to pull something like this off. Quite brilliant.

This is simply amazing. I totally love how you interpreted the prompt and made it this. This is one of the best ones it's I've read for this pairing.

Hello

I happened to come across your story, mainly because I simply adore Pheonix and Miles as a pairing, but when I happened across your description for this story, with the piano and the violin, I simply froze for a second because of what I assumed was going to be written, and 'lo and behold, I got what I assumed to be there!

Your style of writing, beside the few grammatical errors here or there is very descriptive and well in-tuned with the way the reader can immediately connect with, yet, at the same time, slowly drift into the understanding of the story.

You portrayal of the characters were also true and set to the proverbial stone, but at the same time, you've breathed a certain kind of life to them that's appealing and well-thought out. The choices of instruments to the were also very good as the Violin is the hardest instrument to master, and as such, you give it to the man who deems perfection over everything. Or at least, what Manfred Von Karma has brought into his mind.

This story also explains a lot of my beliefs about classical music. While modern music is all well and good, there's something about classical music that you can't ignore. Something about that way that while you listen, you can get the emotion that the composer tried to set into the song, be it anger, joy, sadness, or simple being. I wholeheartedly agree with this general thought process, and I myself, a Violinist and a Clarinetist, want to show people how wonderful classical music can be.

Now, away from my ranting, I simply have to say that this was a wonderful story, quite heart-warming and simply splendid to read.

This story can sit on it's own as a oneshot, but all the same, it can also be turned into some sort of multi-chaptered story, but either way, this is simply wonderful.

With Luv,

Gabriel Mehayel

Yo! This is the same Renuki as the one on LJ. :D *sits down and starts reading*

Oooh, Phoenix is a pianist. Interresting. :D

D'awww, hello Miss Pearl!

'There was nothing Wright could do to affect him now.'

*tries to not to start cackling* Oh. I won't be to sure of that, Edgeworth.

...I will not laugh at Apollo's full name, I will be nice and not la-HAHAHAHAHA!

Actually, Gumshoe? He didn't take Edgeworth place per-say.

'Besides, his reluctance to head over to the other hall was obviously only because it was entirely out of his way and he was a busy man.'

Sure. Keep telling yourself that.

So what if it wasn't perfect! It sound great! :

'The violinist felt sipped at his glass of cool mineral water'

Heads up, I don't think the felt is suppose to be there.

'Edgeworth ignored them all, using the time to continue reassuring himself that what Phoenix did mattered not to him.'

Won't the fact that you have to keep telling yourself this MEAN something? (And Denial isn't just a river in Egypt, mister.)

'"What happened, Miles?" Phoenix's whisper remained unanswered as the music from his piano drowned out his softly spoken words.'

Three words..er actually make that a name: Manfred Von Karma.

Oh my, my...*grins* that one way to show you care, Phoenix.

:D YAY! Another kiss!

*crushes the urge to try to make a pervert comment on what Edgeworth last said*
