This is a great story, i like all the different ideas on Marty that you have added gives him a nicer backstory.

Chapter 25 - Superb chapter. Love it that Nell got the feeling that she was part of the team. Its always hard to be new.

HA HA, so funny when the team teased Deeks about his hair bein cut for the surgery and in chapter 26, when Deeks got his own back.

Adore Callen's comment in chapter 26, 'is it just me or do Deeks and Kensi have the whole Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolie (Mr and Mrs Smith) vibe going on'.

'Fern' - what a name, I always keep thinking. 'Fame', the episode that made it from just a tv show I enjoy to one that is a LOT more than that.

Great ending. Can't wait to read the sequel.

Loved all the Hetty bits.

And Callen trying not to laugh at the stunned expression on Deeks' face when Kensi kissed him on the forehead and took his hand in hers.

This chapter was lovely.

All of Kensi's feelings and the last bit where Callen came to tell her the good news and the comment on her shirt.

My housework skills are probably the same as Kensi's. I mean, why make the bed for example when you are going to sleep in it again.

Loved each of their psych evals with Nate in the last 2 chapters and Callen's recital of how they met Deeks. Its always nice to reminisce old episodes.

I was surprised Kensi told Nate she's in love though cos she's rather closed off usually but I guess she was emotionally distraught and she has opened up to Nate before.

Once again, brilliant chapter.

Actually, even before I read the reference to Grey's Anatomy, I thought of it when the neurosurgeon came out to talk to them. I love the show and the characters but I am not obsessed with it like I am with the 2 NCISs. As in, I don't rewatch eps, read fics or watch interviews with cast members.

I also liked the fact that Vance resigned the the reference to the season 8 NCIS 2 parter - Enemies Foreign and Enemies domestic (in this case ED) cos I loved those 2 eps. And Gibbs assuming acting position as Head is very entertaining although I am sure he'll hate the paperwork that comes with it.

I am also glad Nate is back. I wish he'd come a bit more often on the show.

Unfortunately, I have to go to class now but I hope that Sam and Hetty don't resign. Vance, I don't care.

Superb comments about Deeks' hair!

My dad who is a huge fan of the original cant take to the spin off at all unfortunately because he is put off my Deeks' hair. Whenever I am rewatching an episode, he will ask 'why can't this person comb his hair'? Well, if he wears his hair any differently, he wouldn't be the best looking guy in LA now would he!

Oh no, I can't believe they were interrupted again! But I can fully understand why Nell called. She must have been a bit terrified about the assignment.

I really like the way you give the thoughts running through each person's head in Italics.

This was written last year and this year, in one of the epiodes, Nell actually goes undercover at a firm like this to get info by herself. So, although its slightly AU, you've like predicted the future!

And I love the AU stuff in this story.

A team centered, case based fic with nice Densi moments.

I feel a bit sorry for Nell, not taking any caffeine containing drinks and watching the guy she has a crush on having a thing for a coworker.

Brilliant chapter.

I loved reading about the case. There is nothing better than reading the case after watching it. I am still not familiar with the episodes enough to know them by name but I recall this season 2 episode very well.

And I love the extra bits you put in like Eric saying 'nice shirt, didn't I see Deeks wearing that last month'. LOL! Mustn't read this at work. A few colleagues were giving me strange looks when I was grinning so much at my computer during lunch break.
