I do remember this episode when it first came on, I don't know, 12 years ago. And one more question: Ash was supposed to be like ten in the series. So why the **** isn't he twenty in the new episodes?

Actually, I don't think any of the Grimer die. The first one that was attacked looked like it might have disintegrated, but the other Grimer moved in front of it before you could see if it actually died. I am typing this as I rewatch the episode from another window, so anyone reading this, don't say I don't know what I'm talking about.

I have little knowledge of the anime side of Pokemon, and this story made me decide to watch this episode; had I not been watching it as I type, and merely remembered watching it, I might have agreed that Ash killed the Grimer. He did not.

You made an honest mistake, Farla. The story is fine, wonderful, in fact, without being true to canon. That is why this is FanFICTION; not everything has to be canon.

I do like this story, it is a nice POV and i like how it relates to the cartoon. only citisizm is that i feel you empahsize that the Muk will not kill others and didn't want to kill a tad to much. ] other than that i love it

ASH DIDN'T KILL THEM! Just zapped them. You can CLEARLY see the zapped Grimer run away. However, to prove it, I have the tape, but no way to rip the scene of the Grimer running to a movie of any sort. And, I know how to stop your "unstoppable" Muk with Minimize, Acid Armor, Sludge Bomb, and Toxic. Mewtwo, psychic. (Hey, if you've finished the game, you're probably gonna capture Mewtwo, you just have to go through a maze, talk to a sprite, and use Item: Master Ball.)

Extremely good fic. although it seemed to me that Ash couldnt kill Grimer because, being sludge, they could just reform.

very good and powerful farla just like all the other great fanfics you write that make me feel bad for playing the game i love ( but i'm not mad at you) and yes some of the grimer did run away but the remaining few were dustified by ash's pikachu ( i don't remember how many it's been forever since i've seen that episode)

I'm not going to say I liked this story, but like all of your other stories, it is very well written.

I'm not sure how you got the idea that the Grimer were turned to dust when Pikachu and the Magnamites and Magnatons eletrocuted them, but they just fled the room.

Actually, "Sparks Fly For Magnemite" is one of my favorite episodes, and the Grimer were fainted and driven back, not killed. I don't think Ash would kill a Pokemon.
