Ooh, well, now TWO people have reviewed, Kara. I really enjoyed this. You write well. The imagery is great, Ethan's craziness when he strangles Loren is well-done. It reminds me of Crime and Punishment, a little... not really, but kinda-sorta? It's what I thought of when I read it but I know it doesn't have many plot similarities. Just Raskolnikov's paranoia, I guess. Well done. I like.

I love the twist about him not living so the whole Animorphs timeline could go on as it was. Very cool.
