that was sad and yet at the same time it was also sweet cause it meant that two souls could move on instead of just one

...regardless if it is or not, this story convinces me that the comic you mentioned should be cannon.

This story is beautiful! I love the idea of Link's mother being turned into a tree and representing Link's life. It's so sad how Link had to grow up so fast and become hardened. Especially sad how he lost his eye and him having to kill humans and monsters that could possibly be redeemed. :( Lovely story :)

as i wrote this i did start to cry a little and I'm a guy congats on that I can't even remember the last time i cried.

This one brought tears to my eyes. You seem to be very good at doing that, and it's not that easy a feat. When Link died, that moment when he reaches out to the star saying "Navi", that did it.

I really liked how you added bits in about the sort of society in which the Kokiri live, and how despite living for centuries, they really are eternal children.

Really, the story as a whole was very well done.
