Hee, I love how it ended in the exact same way as Sparkle. Do you think you might, someday, be able to write a totally HAPPY Christian/Satine fic? Just asking. Anyway, this was very cool - you don't often read fics about Christian's home life before going to Paris. His father was just like I'd pictured him, and I can't help but wonder if Christian was quite right in suspecting those weren't his parents... I mean, they were srangely devoid of love and he was so full of it. Though I guess his dad did die of a broken heart, which proved he must have loved Christian. Anyway, very well written!

I really didn't like the use of Fly Away for Christian. It just didn't work for me. That's SATINE'S song & goal.

Now, this isn't to say you aren't a good writer-because you are!-I just didn't really like the use of that song for Christian.
