That was one of the most enjoyable things I've read in a long time. Bloody well done.

It read like Mercedes Lackey if you'd polished up her writing and removed all of the annoying bits. It was touching, unnerving, and struck close to home in some bits. Even the arrival of the Companion didn't have the irritatingly sugary stamp that marks Ms. Lackey's work- and for that, well done.

Wow, that was very good. I liked it very much. You kind of revealed the innermost secrets of people that aren't good, yet, some that were. It was a pretty deep story if you think about it, but i really liked it.

I liked it, I really did...but why wasn't she hearing the buzzing oices in her head when she was in the house? You said her Companion couldn't shielt her without physical contact yet..just curious :)

Wonderful job. You took a terrifying subject(because the abuse really is out there) & made it real! Can't wait to find out how you handle the villagers-they all knew & allowed abuse to happen making them as bad as the abuser. I hope you keep the healer as well as Camwren in your story too!
