Reviews for Ann's Decision
The Tantalus Signature 6/16/13 . chapter 18
"And I found out that Dr. Newman was gone back in time to stay there with a woman." Nice to think that Tony finds love...Sarit, I assume?
EveningInHornersCorners 6/16/13 . chapter 18
Fabulous chapter! I can't wait to see what happens next...

-"But his Name isn't Ibsen. We know him as Andre Malcolm, although I'm aware, that he has other identities." Wow, this is getting more complex than ever...
-Ibsen's explanation definately caught me off-guard...who would have thunk...?
-And the plan is ingenius!
-"Since Angharad was nice to look at it wasn't really a hardship to court her." Rather amusing...
-It's neat that she and Tony get to meet up. I'd hate to see what she might have done to him with that dagger if it hadn't been him, though...
-"The next morning dawned clouded and with cold rain mixed with snow." Pretty miserable...
-Great ending but poor Ann. What could be the matter?
angelolady 6/10/13 . chapter 17
Do please hurry! :)
EveningInHornersCorners 6/10/13 . chapter 17
Fabulous chapter!

-"...she took Ann's necklace away." That doesn't sound good...
-Oh, but it is...I only hope Doug and Tony don't lose hope...
-"There was a special dinner in the staff canteen, which was decorated. Kirk, Ray, Doug and she sat together, exchanged small presents and talked all night long." That sounds very pleasant...I can see why Ann enjoys it...
-"Doug, she will be with you again, look at her picture and then try to overcome the fever." That entire scene was very well-done...isn't it just a natural instinct for a man to want the woman he loves in his hour of suffering?
-"She had no more tears after she had cried for days over Maireads untimely death." Oh dear...
-"The mood in Tic Toc Main Base was strained. Jerry and Dr. Swain had worked the whole night long, and now the moment was come they would know if the tunnel would come to life again." The moment of suspense...
-Oh, thank goodness it worked...
-"Ibsen!" OH. MY. GOSH! My mouth went dry when I read that...What a cliffhanger...

Once again, great chapter; I'm really looking forward to the next update!
EveningInHornersCorners 6/2/13 . chapter 16
Great chapter!

-"Ibsen is the only one who knows them. And he is obviously vanished without a trace. It is exasperating!" I should say so!
-"After much deliberation and consultation with Kirk and Clark, they consecrated him in and he promised to betray not only not a word but to use his contacts to help them." I have a feeling this fellow will be of some use later on...
-"Shush, it is not proper to call your fiance by his first name. You are not married, yet." My but haven't our values changes?
-"The woman who has declared to be her Aunt, helped her washing her hair and gave her a dress, because the 20. century garment, that Ann previously had worn, was not to her liking." A rather amusing detail.
-"Ann had to smile as she read that he gave his car and his guitar to her." I could just see her, smiling through her tears...a beautiful image.
-And I never really thought of Doug as musical, but it's definately a possibility...
-"She knew how much Doug liked it if she wore her hair down and every thought of him made her unbelievable impatient for his homecoming." That is such a sweet thought...

I love that each chapter in this story has its own seperate identity. I've read stories where it seems like every chapter is the same, but this certainly isn't one of them.
EveningInHornersCorners 5/27/13 . chapter 15
This was a good chapter; it's nice to start getting into the adventure that will (we hope) bring Doug and Ann together.

-"Sir Douglas, Sir Anthony..." That's a bit...strange... Almost as though they're playing characters in the theatrer of history...
-"...My knave, Henry, named him the 'fat Geoff'." Quite an amusing detail.
-"...You know, my daughter is a fine girl and I would give you her hand gladly." Yeah, buddy, I would NOT go messing with a man and his beloved...
-"Oh my, you're head over heels, don't you? But what if the Lady Ann the Duke mentioned is a plump, sharp-tongued redhead with a wart on her nose?" Eternally optimistic, aren't we Tony?
-"After three days of restless wandering she was exhausted and felt sick." And I certainly don't blame her. She must be miserable in those conditions!
-"The fire in the hearth was crackling and warmed the room pleasantly. Ann had been stripped from her clothes and the woman had dressed her in a linen shirt. Then she instilled a few sips of tea to Ann and covered the now deeply sleeping with a couple of thick blankets." Poor thing. She certainly deserves the rest...
-"Your uncle is a beast. My only hope is that Sir Douglas and Sir Anthony will come back from their crusade and Angus will get the just punishment from them." Yeah, I'd kinda like to see that too...I don't like the sound of this Angus guy...
EveningInHornersCorners 5/22/13 . chapter 14
Wow! What a chapter...

-"Last night she had dreamt again, the same dream she had a few nights ago. But in this dream there were a woman standing in the middle of the forest who hold her back from running after her friends and another woman who was leading Doug away from her." Yeah, that's a really creepy dream. Women holding you back from the man you love and leading him away from you? I shudder to think.
-I have to admit, I really admire Ann's conviction. Goodness knows I'd definately chicken out...
-You know, I never thought about it that way, but Ibsen could very well be an alien...with telepathic powers, maybe...
-Well, at least she made it. Now let's hope she finds them...
-And oh great. Ibsen's disappeared. Just when we might like to keep an eye on him...alas...
-And Senator Clark is back? Thank goodness! Maybe we'll be able to work this out. Finally.

Great chapter, and I'm really looking forward to your next update.
Rendezvous With Danger 5/22/13 . chapter 12
"Tony was not adverse to flirt. The blonde girl reminded him of another woman." Wait, who's the other woman?
EveningInHornersCorners 5/11/13 . chapter 13
This was a really great, developmental chapter!

-Wow! How on earth did Ibsen know what Doug left for her? Sneaking around his quarters or something? Tsk tsk.
-That was also a beautiful story about Anne and her knight. Could that tell what will happen to them?
-I like that the piece of jewelry he gave her with his proposal wasn't the conventional ring but a necklace.
-"But rest wouldn't come easy to both of them and after they had finally fallen asleep, they were plagued by nightmares in which Tony had to fight with faceless attackers who wanted to kidnap Maria; and Doug, whose dream were pleasant at first lost Ann after a shootout as she was bleeding to death in his arms." Romantic hardships all around, huh?
-"I know, I know it since Sarit, you remember? Maybe you were already united with Ann again if you had let me back then." Ouch, Tony. Nice of you to hang it over his head...

I'm curious to see where they're transferred to next and what signifigance that location will hold.
SixtiesManchesterTeatime 5/6/13 . chapter 12
Every time I read this I find my vocabulary expands.
EveningInHornersCorners 5/6/13 . chapter 12
Great update! After a rough day, this was all it took to cheer me up!

-After some time drinking and talking Doug and Tony tried to explain that they were time travelers and their new acquaintances were drunken enough to believe what they said.
Very amusing detail.
-Tony was not adverse to flirt.
How true! We see so many little snippets of that throughout the series, which makes you wonder what he was like in high school.
-"You are a time traveler yourself!" WOWEE! I was NOT expecting that, but I guess anything's possible...
-"Then I wish you both much fun. Don't do anything I wouldn't do!" Typical older brother syndrome...I love it!
-"No reason to be jealous, Ann. I prefer a certain brunette." Aw! What a sweet line!
-"We can talk all night long if you wish, Doug." For some reason, that just tugged at my heart...
-Ooh. I wonder what Ibsen has up his sleeve this time...can she really trust him?
EveningInHornersCorners 4/26/13 . chapter 11
Wow! What a compelling chapter!

The part where Ann goes to sleep in Doug's quarters was so touching. Her emotions right now are completely understandable. I guess you really can't know a good thing until it's gone.

-"You understand? You understand nothing! If you are determined to go through with this order, you will be the first Senator who is installed with blood on his hands. You and only you are responsible if Doug and Tony will die!" That's quite a strong line, but I can just imagine Ann saying such a thing...

She's definately determined to go back and be with them, and I hope that, if she must, it will turn out well.
EveningInHornersCorners 4/18/13 . chapter 10
Oh boy! This was a fabulous chapter! Here's to hoping they ALL find what they seek.

And that bit where Jerry runs after the future Ann into the Tunnel...that was great.

Golly, I hope the transfer works...And if it isn't, hopefully Ibsen will be sympathetic.

Don't think I've mentioned this before, but the picture you chose for this story is just perfect!
EveningInHornersCorners 4/14/13 . chapter 9
-"...He is a friend and like a younger brother to me." That's such a sweet line! I love it! I also like how Ann wanted Tony to be her son's godfather.

And wow! Poor Jerry! What a way for Ann to be told how much he cares for her. She handled it well, however. Goodness knows if my feelings for someone "taken" had been outed that way I sure wouldn't want to be pressed to talk about it...

The tunnel center? In the future? Now what is this going to mean...?
EveningInHornersCorners 4/8/13 . chapter 8
Great chapter!

-"Kirk and Ray shared a smirk. They both knew that Jerry had a little crush on Ann." That's a cute detail, something I never would have thought of, but definately a possibility...

You do a very nice job of the people in the Tic Toc Base having a conversation with Doug and Tony. Having the "Meanwhile, Back in the Future" element certainly makes for fun reading, if done well, because it provides us with so many more ways to look at things; it's not just Doug and Tony thinking "We have to get out of this mess!" but our crew at Tic Toc thinking, "We have to get them out of this mess, but this time around do we want to change the future?"
