Very intriguing tale, and while I dont envision this way of handling things for Hermione, life can be strange and make people do things they normally would not do. I am happy that Hermione had the better man at the end of the story, though. Thank you very much.

Ack this was lovely. I don't know why, but I really enjoy well written Piers fics. This without doubt fits into the well written category. I love how Hermione rationalized her rather horrible actions with the idea that she had two different lives, and thus could have two different boys as well. I also really like how at the end, it was Piers who could accept all parts of her. I've never much liked Ron/Hermione, either, but I do like Ron, so I'm glad he got his happy ending, and that you never used "Ron's just an idiot who doesn't deserve Hermione" as an excuse to make Hermione's actions forgivable. Instead, Hermione was just a human girl with a difficult past who made a bad decision. It made her story a lot more relatable and believable. I also really liked how Dudley came to her and asked for help. I always felt after DH that Dudley had a chance of redemption.

Anyways, basically your story was fantastic, and I very much enjoyed it.

This was an amazing story. It's such an unusual pairing, but you've written it perfectly. I loved how you wrote the ending - it was sweet, and wasn't purely centred around Hermione. I'm glad Ron got his happy ending, too...
