 Pol 2/4/12 . chapter 1 Fantastique. |
The Sun Will Shine Clear 12/15/11 . chapter 1Love the ending it fit perfectly. |
xxNellxx 6/6/11 . chapter 1Ooooh very cleaver, loved the ending, it was absoloutly brilliant. I loved this rather short and different little story, it was indeed as I said before, very cleaver. I'm actually struggling for words here I'm afraid- theres so much I want to say but I'm not sure how to- it was just brilliant. I loved the way you study the characters, you really go deep and extract every small detail and (no pun intended) deduce meanings behind (for instance) every little facial expression and small character trait you fly into the meanings and come up with possibilities to fit the situations- something that us as veiwers to the show have to pick up on for ourselves or think about later. I love the examples you studied for this fic- because they were similar to how I thought about it- such as the convo between Sebastian and him, it ALWAYS makes me think about what Sherlock's childhood was like and just how lonely was he and the reasons on why he shuts out (in his words) the whole caring lark. I'll stop going on anyways- brilliant. Loved it.

nw 5/8/11 . chapter 1 I love the isolation at the end. The brokenness perfectly mirrored the emotional crux of that scene. Well done. |
 gengen0776 4/23/11 . chapter 1This is my friend.
Said in very much the same way a man would claim the classy red Ferrari parked out front of the school reunion party to be his. Because, as a kid, he had rode a beat up, hand-me-down of a bike with a chain that came off every five minutes and mangled handlebars that were almost impossible to navigate with whilst the other kids had brand new BMXs with several gears and a holder on the frame for a water bottle.
LOVE that description! Like Sherlock was trying to prove to Sebastian that he had friends...*hugs
And as John stepped out form the cubicle beside the pool, bomb strapped to his chest heavy and suffocating hidden by the oversized coat, he saw Sherlock falter. He saw a crack in the wall and felt a stab in his heart at the brief betrayal that flashed across the detective's eyes guilty as he thought of being the cause."John.
THAT look! OMG my heart broke!
Brilliant character analysis! I think that John is good for Sherlock, he is patient beyond belief and that is what Sherlock needs in a friend, someone patient and who gets him...gets that he is lonely because of how brilliant he is and who can see past his lack of tact because really it's more about being brutally honest than being tactless.
Wonderful job yet again! always sit in awe of your awesome writing skills! |
 98Shaddowolff98 4/19/11 . chapter 1This was extremely good! Brilliantly written, great job :D |
bkwrm19 4/19/11 . chapter 1Goodness, It's so hard to find a good Sherlock fic these days, so thank you so much for posting this! I myself thought it was a bit odd that Sherlock would introduce John as a friend so soon, let alone at all. Even more so that John corrected him by saying "colleague". If *I* was introduced by Sherlock as a friend, there would be much happiness and a deeply honored feeling going on.
I loved this. Especially the end part there
When does a colleague become a friend?
When had Sherlock Holmes started to care?
Chills, I tell you. CHILLS! Lol okay, this is getting long, but just wanted to let you know I absolutely love it. Write more soon please! |
Fee 4/19/11 . chapter 1 Very nice piece! I especially liked the mercedes-bike thing, nice image
While reading this, I was already going 'I know this author's name, has-a-positive-ring', and then I saw you are also writing Blind Man's Bluff, which is briliant as well. Will keep following your stories. (sorry for the review being anonymous (how dOes one spell that..)fail...) |
