Poignant. It expresses the hope of return, and the pain of leaving.

I wish there was more to this. Very good at depicting emotion.

Though a future without human beings seems the best thing that could ever happen to the planet Earth, no creatures to eat it apart, taking it's resources, it's animals, into extinction, I still think this is a good story. Well done, short and sweet, perfect.

This is great! in fact, it's kinda ironic... the fic I'm writing right now has the animorphs taking on a rather dissimilar of the human race. It'd be interesting to see a sequel to this story, I think the concept of humans living on another planet (other than the andalite homeworkd) in refuge from the Yeerks is pretty darn innovative... but then again, I haven't been around for very long so I wouldn't know.
