I love it. I'm so glad that Aeris and Tifa were close friends here...I've read a lot of fics about "evil" Tifa wanting to kill "innocent" Aeris because she was jealous that Cloud loved her or something ridiculous like that...it's so stupid. But I'm delighted to see that this wasn't the same. And I was happy to see a chapter from Yuffie's p.o.v, too! I was kinda surprised when Yuffie cried for Aeris in the game...and we all thought she was nothing but a greedy, heartless, materia-loving ninja
So anyway, this is just about the only Cloud/Aeris fic I've read that didn't make me cringe. I love the way you've described everything. Keep on writing! I want to see what happens next.

Don't worry Krystal, I didn't have Cloud/Tifa in mind when I wrote the ending, cos I don't really like that pairing, (no offence to Cloud/Tifa fans!) it's more of a 'Cloud and Tifa as friends' thing. At first it was going to be a Aeris revival story, where she and Cloud walk off into the sunset together but there's so many of those already, and I probably would have ended up making it sound fake and tacky knowing me!
And Yuffie, is the sad thing in a good or bad sense?

Even though the ending had a CloTi feel to it, I'm grateful that this isn't a total CloTi. I dislike stories which make Cloud get over Aeris because he discovers his love for Tifa. ECK! That's sooo trite. (Come up with some original ideas, guyz!) Anyways...

I liked this story. It's hard, trying to actually put down into words, such a subtle concept of realizing that she has never left. It's really hard to verbalize such a concept that barely registers into mind. I think you did a good job. Keep it up!
