I think you picked the right place to stop, sometimes the timing of the ending is more important than the leangth of the chapter. Arty doesn't really seem stupid, it's just that he's trying to do things legally for once which as we see in the books he does start doing more.

Oh, and if you want to do a half-line break on Word, hold down shift when you press enter. But the spacing was fine anyway

Yes, Sylvian was in this version. The idea of the clone is neat, it's an interesting way to have him involved in the story. I think it's a good idea to go ahead and introduce Hanna, it's better than her appearing out of no where just when she is needed.

The comparison to the slavery relationship was interesting, I hadn't thought of that before, but it fits. That was so sweet at the end! Poor baby! (sniffle) Looking forward to the next update, whenever you can do it.

Some of the transitions in this chapter were confusing, but that's probably a result of the time you wrote them. The chapter itself was good. I hadn't really paid attention to that with the names, I just didn't think about it (please don't kill me!) but that does make sense even thought technically Artemis is a unisex name too. Actually my mother is convinced that it's a man's name never to be used for a girl! Whatever.
