It took me three days to read this and I must say I LOVED IT! The ending took me by surprise(as I am a sucker for happy endings) but it fit the story completely. You are an amazing writer!

wow, I loved it, not too keen on the end though especially them both being married. great use of the dialogue from the film, working it into the plot almost seemlessly. Your use of grammer and tenses could be improved.

trickhayden thanks for the review to answer your question. Yes and no. The story was getting a little long, but this was actually the first story that I had a definite plan from beginning to end, almost every scene and moment in this story was planned from the start. Usually when I write, it's a stream of conscienous thing where I let the characters and the story dictate how it goes.

So to answer your question, yes I had planned that ending from the start, which is why I focused so much on character building so that the end would have more of an impact. Amazingly everyone liked the ending, I was expecting a lot of outcry over that, not some of the other stuff in the story. And I don't believe in "happy endings," primarily because every story ends happily. So I like for my stories to end with a mixture.

i was disappointed by your fic. i was up til 3.30 in the morning reading this great piece of writing only to be let down by the end. as henry said in the movie. "And we princess are supposed to live happily ever after." this ending wasn't very happy. what happened at the end? were you just going for the opposite of what everyone expected? did you just decide that the story was too long and gave up?

great story. i love all the twists and turns, you never know what is going to happen next. i really liked it how you took it in a different direction than the movie but yet certain things from the movie still came up.
