I really like this so far and I hope you continue it. I love the stories that have Menolly and the Harpers in it! There is one thing I'd like to mention that I'm unsure if anyone else has brought up: Menolly only has nine firelizards, not ten. :)

I can't remember if I ever reviewed on this, so just in case: it's nice to see a fic with some thought put into it that focuses on Menolly. She's my fave character, and we never saw the consequences of her evading-to some extent-the unspoken-of problems in her hold by being effectively promoted to a position some never wanted her in. You're also doing a fine job of fleshing out the other characters/keeping known characters in-character. I'm glad you updated. I keep an eye on this story. : )

The Dragonriders of Pern is my favorite series of books. You have all the characters down pat! I'm really enjoying this story. I've always wanted someone to write about Menolly's parents and justice for Menolly for the outright abuse she suffered at their hands and words, simply because she wouldn't fit into the mold they made for her. Looking forward to more.
