I like how you showed August and Marlena's relationship at first, which is how most like this start off. Everything is just so perfect, their future is looking bright. And then it eventually all goes downhill from there!... You should be very happy with this, I hope you keep writing more like it. I find August to be a very intriguing character, ya know?
