The Spyro 5/22/13 . chapter 20 Been a while since I'd read so I had three chapters to go... Gets better and better. Absolutely loving the developments, and the exposition of the railway magic through Idris and Mr Dinwiddy was fantastically written. Hats off to you, good sir. Very much looking forward to the next update. |
Lady Tehpikachu 5/4/13 . chapter 20 Heh, looks like I'm the one here who knows what the crossover is with. It's "Ivor the Engine", you guys, a brilliant series, albeit short. He didn't make those characters up himself, but he portrays them wonderfully. Every episode is on YouTube, you guys should check it out. As for you, Tony, you already know what I think of your story. ;3 |
Adam155 4/30/13 . chapter 20Next chapter, tell how he actually did come back to the island and became steam engines again. |
Guess who 3/31/13 . chapter 18 In Chapter 19, could you tell how Mr. Mr. Peregrine Percival and Sir Topham Hatt work out the problem for the steam engines and diesels? |
The Spyro 1/11/13 . chapter 16 "The Merioneth and Llantisilly Railway Traction Company", eh? And so the plot thickens... ;) Really, REALLY loving this work. I've followed it from the beginning and it's not gotten any worse - if anything, it gets better and better. Fantastic! Thanks for updating, I VERY much look forward to the next! |
Tommy B 101 1/10/13 . chapter 1Your dialogue is brilliant, mate! Also, your way of introducing the characters, then the plot is very good! Same for your impressive character development. Looking forward to reading more. |
The Dooz 7/14/12 . chapter 14 Absolutely incredible chapter, as per usual. Been following this one for a while now and it's getting ever more interesting! |
Recycler 10/4/11 . chapter 8Hmmm, while I don't exactly appreciate you being weeks late uploading your story, nor having the chapter taken away while I was halfway through reading it when you do update, I can completely understand you having a lot on your plate and that technical difficulties can and do occur. I still love your story and can't wait for you to update. Before I sign off, I feel I should voice a rather odd request; when you finish up with this story can you please write another Thomas the Tank Engine fic that crosses over with the Disney Pixar film Cars? I know it sounds weird, but for some reason I've been thinking about it ever since I watched the movie this summer. Please respond, over and out. |
Kyle 9/14/11 . chapter 2 The only complaint I have is your accent with Emily. Even though she is Scottish you will gain more readers if you don't make her so confusing with her accent. Just saying that's all. Don't takethis personally. |
Kyle 9/14/11 . chapter 3 I can't wait to see how Trevor and Terrance are doing. I wonder if Bertie will want another race with Thomas when they find each other? |
Recycler 8/12/11 . chapter 7Ya know, it was pretty clever of you to incorporate characters from both the Television Series and Railway Series into your story. I also think it's really cool of you to answer some important questions we Thomas fans always wonder about, like "Why do some trains in the Railway Series have no faces?" and "How do engines get faces in the first place?" There's just something about the way you write, the way you're able to add such depth and philosophy to the characters and storyline, that makes it so interesting. And to do that with something like Thomas the Tank Engine makes it even more impressive. You should absolutely consider becoming an author if you haven't considered it onto the chapter in question; I know I'm probably being lazy, but like I said with the previous chapters, this one is very, very good. I do hope that Neville and Molly are alright and that Jeanie is able to deal with all the former steam engines and diesels without getting swarmed. Over and out. |
ThomasAngryBirds 8/9/11 . chapter 7Oh dear. I wonder if everyone will be okay in the end, and I wonder if Molly and Neville have chances of being brought back to life, or it's already too late for them. Do let me know! |
Recycler 8/3/11 . chapter 6Hmmm... I think you've got a continuity error here. I don't think that Thomas the Tank Engine takes place in the modern day, like 2011, I think it takes place back in the 1960s, when diesel engines were beginning to replace steam engines as a source of rail transportation. But anyway, awesome chapter. It was really cool seeing an engine "born" so to speak. Hope you update soon. |
Recycler 7/21/11 . chapter 5Oh my God... you weren't kidding when you said despicable!XD Oh, I'd never thought I'd see rape, drinking, and swearing in anything related to Thomas and Friends, yet here I am. I hope Daisy's okay. Can't wait to see what's in the box Burnett was talking about. Keep it up. |
tonygestaple 7/17/11 . chapter 4Recycler, Thank you for that wonderful review. Re Jeanie/Toby: lol - I can picture myself thinking the very same thing if I was in her place. Re crossover: There wasn't a category entry for the prog it's crossed with, and I don't really want to identify it yet as it'll give away too much information regarding the mission that certain characters will have to go on to try and save Lady. I want to maintain a little bit of suspense, after all! When I post the chapter that introduces the "other party", so to speak, I'll be putting some links on my profile page for any readers outside the UK that may be unfamiliar with it. |
