I spent much of the day reading this on my Kindle app, and I so enjoyed your story. You made me tear up on the bits with Edward and his dad along with their mini break up. But then I was so happy when he called her to come be with him and they worked together making everything right. I love how you ended things as well, as I myself just completed business school and am looking to get my CPA next. Not a bad career choice at all. If anything, I might have liked to see more interaction with Charlie and Edward, but it's your story and I respect your choice to include or not include whatever you want.
I'll be reading The Art Teacher very soon as well.)

I liked to see them opening up to one another and although the sex is hot, I was a little disappointed that it was being used to bring them back to a "safe" zone. Still, I trust! It's a good progression.

Oh wow...I really wasn't expecting this. I was sure Edward Sr. was going to recover and they would amend their differences and live HEA. So now it's even more sad that they parted the way they did. But in the end, he left everything to him anyway, so that does speak of some affection.
