I just loved this! I've never read a re-telling of this story and this was so good! I love the innocence of her point of view and how she is stubborn and so insistent that she isn't so little and can take care of herself. It really is believable, which is another thing that I enjoyed about this story. Also, it was very well-written. Well done!

I'm not even sure I can say why I like this story so much. Because Little Red Riding Hood had character and it wasn't perfect, but it was true. And well thought. Kia ora.

... wow. I really love the way you captured the speaker's character; I've never thought of her feeling anything but relieved. I also liked the way you kept the "less is more" saying in mind and let us understand what the piece symbolizes rather than coming out and saying it. it gives the piece emotional depth and keeps us interested. fantastic.
