This fic is absolutely delightful, from your evocative descriptions to clever title to wonderful closing line. In addition to being a charming moment of mischief and romance, this little interlude provides subtle but excellent foreshadowing - Harold's ardor for Marian is ever-increasing and it is getting more challenging for him to keep their canoodling on an appropriate level. Very well done, and I am really looking forward to subsequent fics exploring their courtship further!
