It flows effortlessly, the everything between Michael and Nikita the love, the lust, the dependence, the willingness to be together against all odds. I loved all the moments, Amanda's pet theory, Birkhoff warning Michael, him apologizing (even if she doesn't hear it) and especially this line"That, he suspects, was half the problem to begin with that they both knew it wouldn't be a one-night stand between them." And they have been this way a long time, indeed. |
