Thought provoking. I never saw this side of Severus' situation. Pretending to be something he was not meant sacrificing friends, family, and the perception of others. I had not thought to include the many years worth of Slytherins that came and went at Hogwarts. He could not reveal his true intentions and identity, so they, in turn, became a sacrifice. Watching them come and go over the years would be a heavier weight than all others he must bear, it would seem to me. And Draco and Harry, a very interesting justification for their pairing and what it meant to the wizarding world.
This is a fantastic perspective I had not considered. Very well done.
