Enjoyed the first chapter and you have raised an important point. What to do with the death eaters and their supporters like Umbridge. To veil or not to veil? Bellatrix and the other death eaters were in Azkaban for 15 years and immediately started killing again when Voldemort released them even after the subject to the dementors all that time. It seems the only cruelty was to the Aurors who had to guard them and then were murdered.

So Harry doesn't want their death on his hands and Ginny doesn't want alive to escape to attack her children. So why not put them in a time chamber to speed up their time so they get to live their lives and die a natural death. Say speed time up to 100 years inside to 1 year outside. As they will never see the sun they would not know anything different and live a fully wasted life not hurting anyone any more. The shear boredom will hurt them more than any dementor and they will have to take care of themselves. And in a year they will all be gone peacefully.
