Though when was it set? I'm guessing it's a pre-series story? Because Dean swam in "Dead in the Water". Or is it AU?

This was so perfectly angsty! I totally understand what Dean felt. I don't know how to swim and people have tried throwing me in the pool to learn. Heck my family always throws people in the pool and they say they'll either learn to swim or drown.

So i understand those feelings!

I'm glad Sam tried at least in a nice way.

Anyway this was epic and i loved it! I want more!

Sweet story - and I do like the occasional "non-supernatural" Supernatural based story.

This also supports my fairly deep seated anti-John stance - I'm not expecting "Parenting the Winchester Way" to hit the best seller charts any time soon!
