I was just wondering if you are going to finish this story or update with a new chapter. Hoping that you would but not sure when. This is a good story, and well written.

i'm so scared for sookie and her autonomy but hopefully your ending foreshadows the tides are turing in her favor or at least some retribution.
Felipe is evil but he adds so much to the story, i'm very interested in what he is planning and what hisfate is. I love the fact that the story is told from bill's pov and it leaves a lot to be infered and makes me even curious as to what the other charachters are thinking and doing. I also love how you dont villinize or victimize bill but just write him as a vampire who has made regretful decisions and is trying to deal with them and being in a tight situation.

I've read almost nonstop since I found this story - WOW! Fingers crossed that you will be updating soon!

Well. I didn't think i'd enjoy a fic from Bills POV. You proved me wrong.

My heart is breaking for Sookie. Heck my heart is breaking for Bill, Eric, Pam... all concerned. This story is tough to take.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that another chapter will shortly make an appearance.

Just discovered this FF and read it all in one sitting. Love the Bill's perspective that you've taken with this. Think you've really captured the feeling of CH's writing. Exceptionally well plotted and descriptive. I'm a total E/S shipper, and I have no preconceived notion of whom - if anyone - Sookie will end up with in this version. Hope you update soon - this is a heck of a cliffie to leave off on :D. Hoping Sookie finds a way to kick some vampire butt soon - there are many vamps that value and even respect her. Hope she can find some allies to help her escape DeCastro's clutches.

This story is quite fabulous! Characterization is spot-on, and the plot line is encompassing, as well as heart stopping. I can't wait for Felipe to get his-he is the epitome of the conniving, evil vampire.

CH should offer you big $$$ for the rights to publish this.

This is absolutely an amazing story that I almost passed up because of the title. Your characterizations are spot on. I know it is popular to hate Bill, but I think your portrayal of him is much more accurate. Your Sookie is wonderful-strong and compassionate. Felipe is a monster, and I can't wait till he gets what is coming to him. Your story-telling is superb. The plot has made me quite anxious so I hope your muse cooperates, and that there isn't a long wait until the next update.

This is for the last Chapter, 23, it wouldn't let me post there. Excellent as always. I am confused though, I thought the whole plan was to "stop" the pledging, but they are actually pledged it seems? I hope it all works out for them, I really do. Interesting too how so many people like to hate Bill, but we simply don't here in this story and its all from his perspective too- Really great! I have told you before, I wish this was actually dead-locked- it is so much better than that last book, hands down.

This chapter caught me up and spun me in circles. The utter intensity of the scene where Castro forced Sookie to heel, nearly drained her and forced her to drink. What that represented in the story, his seemingly final truimph over her and the situation ... the entire sense that all is lost... the die is indeed cast. Yet there's a subtle bead under it all of Eric's rage, Bill's rage, Sookie's rage... it seems impossible to make that many enemies, do that much damage to so many people and not pay for it.
