I'm sorry that it took me a couple days to review. I've been having problems with my laptop. But it's great to see another Supernatural fan fic from you! :) I've been enjoying the last half of the season too. They've been bringing things together in surprising ways, and I loved "The Man Who Would Be King."

*winces* That really is not a nice thought. But, I have a feeling that might be where things are heading, if something doesn't change.

I too hope Cas is redeemable. I suspect he is being set up as the Big Bad for the next season though...

Good work the comparison with Sam and Cas. I also thought abouthow Dean is always having to forgive family members for the crap they do. You know, hearing Cas last night pleading for a sign made me think of that allegory about the guy on the roof of his house during a flood when the boat came by to save him, and then the helicopter... he gets to the pearly gates and asks why he didn't get a sign and God basically says, "Here's your sign, stupid."

You know it was necessary...it would be a bit confusing and that guy who directed it,it was his first time directing and he wrote that episode,i think he did a great job and also he telling his story to god...that would be odd just to have that scene with him on the bench for the whole half hour...i'm sorry but it needed to be said.

I know what you mean about this season. Thanks for writing this wonderful tag and giving us readers an awesome look into Dean's thoughts after Cas left Bobby's house. :)

Dean and Cas aka Jensen and Misha really did hit it out of the park last night! So many things said by only their expressions.

What I really love about your one shot though, is Dean's consideration of Cas as family-an honorary Winchester as well as the fact Dean wants to stop Cas, but not kill him. A lot of folk seem to be immediately jumping to Dean will kill Cas. I think Dean will only do that if he has no other choice. Cas is family to Dean, and despite being betrayed by his family over and over again, Dean has always fought for them with all he has.
