I loved this fanfiction wish the story would continue

This is the second story that I've read of yours. I hope there will be a sequel...even a one-shot...letting is know what happens with them...like an epilogue.

By the way, I faved you. :)

You definitely want to pluck this Spock's eyes out! I hope that what has happened to Nyota will change him for the good.

I really did love this story and it's even better on the second reading. Jim and Nyota are seriously adorable. These lines made the whole thing worth it for me:

'"This thing we've got going. It's great, it's perfect, but if you aren't serious, let's just stop right now."

Nyota doesn't choke on her Lar, but it's a close call. As it is she barely manages to cough out, "Excuse me?"'.

Classic!

And, I'm loving Bad!Spock even more than the original read through too. Haters gonna hate, I suppose. But, I'm a big fan

Best Kirk/Uhura I've read so far. Entertaining, true to character form, lovely. And I like the Bad!Spock. Haters can suck it. Awesome job.

Ahaha. Kirk and Uhura are a pairing I've never explored before, but this was super enjoyable. This whole thing made me laugh and smile and go "aww" and generally brightened my day. Thank you very much for a great read.

just read it throughout a particularly boring work meeting (oops - not that I feel so bad though). Also, I don't get what all the bad press was with this story - this is Fan Fic; we write what we want how we want to, if you don't like, don't read and you clearly stated that in your summaries. Great work and like others here, I would LOVE to see you do a sequel on these two (who I love together over Spock and Uhura btw). Well done and thanks for sharing!

My fave chapter...sigh...Beautiful insight into their emotions and how they (kinda) take the next step..

I like how Jim looked mortified after he realised that Nyota would be there in a new capacity. I am happy for her, and glad she's not just rushing into his arms, and she has her own career and life to get in order first. Love this story!

Best lines in this chap for me:

"And then Jim's had it. It's wrong and goes completely against his principles to get involved in this sort of thing, but really - Spock's brought Uhura to death's doorstep, publicly humiliated her, lied to her probably countless times, and she's still sick. Playing with her mind right now just isn't fair.

"You heard her," Jim says. "Get out."

Sigh...Yes! You tell him Jim! Actually...Initially i was like "What? Why should Nyota get shafted? This is all Spock's fault, etc etc", but i reckon its something else..obviously :)

Wow...This chapter was electric with emotions..including mine :) Poor Jim..Poor Nyota.

I am coming into this late, but...I LOVE what you've done with K&N here! I love the delve into their characters and N's family snippets is great. Am off to read the rest.

Wow! That was an great piece of work! I honestly thought this was a crack fic from the title but it was so real and heartwarming! The war plot could have been fleshed out a little...but the real story was Jim and Uhura anyway! lol I still loved it!

I'm speechless. I really don't know what to say. I will do my best, though.

I don't think any of the characters were OOC, not even Spock and Kirk. In an alternate universe, and since this IS an alternate universe fic, I can see Spock and Kirk act like this. Even though I love Spock, I've always wondered how he would behave if he were a womanizer and not Jim. Your version is exactly how I imagined it would be.

As for Kirk, I love your version of his character and personality. He's still funny, goofy, charming, and charismatic. Not to mention, I've always wanted him to put aside his womanizing ways and find a woman he can actually be with for the rest of his life. I always felt he could/should have been with Uhura, especially on the TV show, since she had (has) the potential to "tame" him.

And speaking of Kirk/Uhura, I love the way you wrote them. I loved the way their friendship grew over the years, and then how it blossomed into love. It was incredibly sweet, charming, and endearing.

Again, awesome story. Please keep writing more Kirk/Uhura fics. There's not enough of these two out there. _
