It's a shame this story hasn't gotten any reviews yet. Unusually good spelling and grammar, surprisingly in-character dialogue (yes, this was absolutely in character. You didn't use the tv series' characters, either, which is impressive.), and a nice resolution to a problem which still hasn't been resolved. Thanks!
