I have absolutely no idea how I could miss this story, but for some reason I never saw it here on the website. I was going through your banners on your page (which are stunning by the way - such a talent:)) and picking out stories that seemed . I'm so glad I did because this is just beautiful!

It's so heartbreaking and I cried almost the entire time. I usually don't like too much sadness, need my happy ending;) but in some way this was one because you didn't only write about hope in the end, but I could really feel it.

I love that this gave so many additional information to FLY and also showed us some of the additional characters. Really liked the Jasper/Esme interaction for some reason, wishing for more already;).
Very moving and powerful! I read a couple stories during the last days and it felt so good now to read some truly great writing again, thanks!

Now that my eyes aren't longer swollen and red from all the crying I did, I can now review. Wow just wow. This was so beaufifully written. Super sad that Alice is gone. :(

Oh my. I think this is the first time I actually cry reading a fanfiction. Your writing is absolutely wonderful. It was so sad and beautiful at the same time, so much pain, and you managed to make it so real I could feel it. Poor Jasper, what a test for him to go on without Alice and be there for his daughter, but in the end, as you said, she is the hope that can actually save him from abandoning himself.

And I loved how you gave a note of "hope" to punctuate this one-shot. I loved how you compared hope with grief and showed how it was the one thing to battle it. I loved the message at the end. Great, moving, emotional one-shot.

Totally made me cry but it's all good. I'm glad Jasper could move past his grief to be great father for his bay girl. Amelia definitely deserves it. Of course it had to be Edward to tell him that. It's good that he did. Loved it! So moving! Sad yet beautiful! Incredible job! Keep it up! Wish there was more.

I'm a mess. My gosh what a beautiful emotional one shot. You had me from the first word till the last. Losing someone is never easy and my god with Jasper it felt so raw.

I love your Edward.I'm glad that he was the one to give Jasper his "wake up call". It break my heart when he said that Amelia wasn't his poor little cutie already lost her mother she can't afford to lose her father too.

I think the waterfall start the moment I start reading the flashback. Let me tell you that I had an image of Jasper running searching for Alice killed me. 'She was just sleeping, but she was never going to wake up.'That was amazing.

I'm so happy that Jasper went t see Amelia. When she was crying you could tell that he was scared and he didn't know what to do. It's in these moment he wished Alice was there with him *snif*. I'm glad he said that he would be there for her and do his best. I love daddysper.

It was amazing,emotional and angsty (that's kind of a word). I loved it.

Beautiful and yes, it made me cry. Very real emotions and I could see Jasper reacting this way.

PIC, PIC, PIC. You did it AGAIN. You wrote the perfect words for a messed up situation like that. This one was so...sad but good. I smiled and cried with the ending...just...perfect.

'She was just sleeping, but she was never going to wake up.' That broke my heart. It's full of despair and resignation, there is no hope there.

Ooh, and I LOVED that Edward was 'the voice of reason' and opened Jasper's eyes. A father to another father? I loved that he told Jasper he wasn't the only one who lost a loved one, but they had Amelia. And the picture, it was like proof of 'You'll regret it' because the moment Jasper saw the picture, he regretted not being there.
