Just one word...WOW! That was fantastic! I felt it. When I was done reading it, I just sat there unable to move for a few minutes and then was seized by the need to review. I don't review a lot of stories, but I had to let you know how much I loved this story. You are a very talented writer.

This is the sweetest story. It really builds from that moment in the Gift of Spike's promise to protect Dawn 'until the end of the world' (which was easily one of Spike's most heroic moments). Emulating Atlas is touching, thoughtful, and made me cry a little. It's a perfect possible future story.

With the world on his shoulders, huh? I don't quite want to call this sweet, cause the angst factor is there... I think touching is the word I'm looking for. Special applause on using those lists of numbers so well -- I imagine they could easily become repetitive and boring but they're not at all. Wonderful fic.

I read this awhile ago and just decided to read it again. I really love this. Very poignant and heartbreaking. Very true to character as well, in my opinion.

One of the best examples of short fics I've read. I normally don't review, but this one blew me away.
