This has been a long but good story I think it will be interesting to see how the rest goes.

Just gotta love the contact part. I love how Garrett ends contact by saying "Rochester, nice meeting you. Good bye." I probably would have been tempted to stand my ground, and if they tried to board, I probably would have been tempted to deck them. But I would have just settled with saying that even though we lost contact with our colony, we maintain our form of government and laws to the best of our abilities, and therefore maintain our independence from any other government, Earth or otherwise. Therefore, we are not subject to the laws of the current Earth government unless we see fit. If they wanted to scan for illegal cargo and contraband, they are free to do so, but they are not to board unless I give permission, and they are to follow my terms (and I would express that I felt insulted, being accused of carrying illegal cargo-what does this look like, a smuggling ship?). If they are to attempt to board by force, I may view that as an act of aggression, and may respond in kind. I probably would have just settled with firing a warning shot while accelerating to full impulse, then jumped to warp (don't want to pick a fight with them just yet). Good thing that Picard wasn't the one in charge of contact; something tells me he would have had less patience with the Rochester's captain.
Oh, and one more thing: stop describing Starfleet vessels as white. They may range from medium gray to off-white, but most of them are light gray in color. The Enterprise D is an eggshell blue-gray.

Skeet, just reread this -- as there nothing else good to read -- and find that you've miss calculated the warp speed in this chapter Warp 6 should be 117,600,0 kps

Times it by 60 and then 60 again and you get the 421 billion for an hour not a second

not a nitpick its just that you've edited this story several times since you finished it and i only just noticed it,wanted to let you know so you caoul fix it at a later date.

keep penning!

The term is wary (watchful; being on one's guard against danger) not weary (physically or mentally exhausted by hard work, exertion, strain, fatigued, tired).

And shudder (a convulsive movement of the body, as from horror, fear, or cold) not shutter (a solid or louvered movable cover for a window).

Very impressive. There is a bit of confusion, now and then, where I need to reread a paragraph because the timing of the action sees off of what I just read, but that could very well be me.

I'm really enjoying this so far.

Holy Crap wow. This was amazing. You're incorporating so many things in this, and it seems including Thirdspace. The Shadows are in for a start once that thing is opened, if I remember my B5 movies right.
Amazing fic, it seems the start of a saga. I look forward to more. I grew up with these sci-fi shows, and I love how you've merged them.
Keep writing!

I think I reviewed this story before, saying it was incredibly great or a similiar praise. It is a truly great imagination that has brought this story to life. Other than the review, I wanted to add this to my favorites list.

I want to thank you for an incredible tale told here. Not just the seamless blend of shows, but the way you told this story. The pacing, the mixture of conversation with action. Sometimes you had me wishing that neither would end. The senses of triumphs, the instances of insight by the various characters. I thank you allot for your portrayal of Kosh too, my B5 favorite character. Then there was the magnificient use of Guinan, never too much or over-the-top, just right. Great portrayals of the different kinds of Federations shaped by what was going on in their timelines, and how they rose above them to meet the challenges laid out in this story. I loved how B5 the station was indeed the bastion of hope, -the- center of the brightspot in this universe. Thank you. Looking forward to Those Who Stand.
