great chapter, it was a real improvement over the last few chapters, especially seeing as how the past few chapters could have been condensed into 1 or 2 chapters.

anyway, great work, i'm really enjoying it so far. :D

This chapter was kind of funny with how the Dursley's were total opposites of their original selfs and failing at trying to be mean. I did like the idea of Petunia and Vernon 'being' Harry's parents rather than the relatives that take of him since his parents died.

Wow! Petunia is a much better sister too! No wonder Lily knew that she could count on her. I really liked Lily's talk with Sirius in the previous chapter as well. She did really well scaring the crap out of him. He feared Lily a lot more than he did while dueling an insane Bellatrix!
