Awww, Faith and Heero are getting closer! Or at least less aggressive towards each other, haha. I love Trowa, I'm so glad he had a big part in this chapter:D Preventer Trowa is amazing;) As if he wasn't amazing as Pilot 03, but whatever. Anyways, Ireally thik your writing style has progressed very well from when you first started this story. You used to be pretty rusty, to be frank, but no offense. You've gotten much better. I just thought I might let you know:)

I love their light father/daughter banter. Even just reading Faith's character I can see so much of both Heero and Relena in her. :) She's a well written character.

First of all, in your rewrite of chapter 8, you called Hilde "Mom" and then switched back to Hilde later. Why?

As for this chapter, I'm going to try and cover everything I thought about during my read, but I'm probably going to PM you later and be like "I forgot to say..." lol.

I find it so in character that Trowa didn't notice just how grown up Duo and Hilde's kids are for their age. Then again, maybe he was just trying to reason it out to calm Heero a bit? And about the Red Fang guy who was forcing the women's stall doors open, I find it funny that the security guard was saying he was lucky he didn't get maced. Then again, it would've been funnier if he did get maced. I'm in an odd mood today, lol. Also, I love, love, LOVED that little moment with Faith and Trowa, they get along so well. "I think I'll have to go with door number two, Dad." I love the way Faith talks, it's very teenagery (coming from a teen lol) "Ugh," she grumbled. "I hate wearing hats. And these things are huge, Dad! I'm gonna look like such a dork." I find it so funny that she narrowly escaped a kidnapping and she's complaining about wearing a hat. XD And I loved that little moment between Faith and Heero where he told her it wasn't her fault about him and Relena, so sweet. And a cliffhanger again, evil! XD, great job, this is my favorite chapter so far!

The want for more Leap of Faith has been curbed - for now. I sense action coming, and a twist...one can only hope:) I agree with Trowa; the kidnappers are pitiful. Oh well. I really like Dak and Lexi. Lexi is just adorable, and her interactions with Heero had me smiling the whole time. Then Dak is just so...mature? I don't know if that's the right word, but I think it fits.

Can't wait for more!

I am really interested in this story. I much prefer action/adventure to sappy romance, and it looks like there will be plenty of action here. Not to say that this story is only action- there is affection and love both between parent(s) and child(ren) and between couples, and you have portrayed this in a very natural, realistic style. I like the parallels and contrasts between Duo/Hilde's steady, powerful bond and the strained yet still intense connection between Heero and Relena. As I read the interaction between Faith and Heero, I can't help but think of what family must mean to the two men who grew up without much of any real family of their own. The reader does not have to know GW very well at all to understand this story, yet it feels firmly rooted in that source. This, I think, is what a well-done fan fiction does; it doesn't try to rewrite the original to please the author but uses it as inspiration for creativity.

Ok, my review probably won't be as long, mostly because I felt this chapter was... a little less meaty than the rest. No offense, it was still good but it felt as if maybe it was a little bit bare? Anyway, I like Duo's logic of dealing with tough situations as a family, that's very him. Faith is so brave, stepping in front of those people's guns for Lexi! I just got the stray thought that Faith would be a good mother someday, but I'm not going to go into that. Lexi's a very smart little girl, keeping that paper hidden until Heero was there. I thought it was cute how good Heero was with Lexi, though I remember when he brought Faith to Duo, he was good with her too. I'm not being a good reviewer, I'm sorry, I'm trying... Faith definitely has good memory that she remembered where the guy was working in time to get it into the paper to give to Lexi! I really like how Duo and Hilde said they would see it through to the end with Faith, despite Hilde's illness and the five kids. On the same note, it was good to see Hilde cheerful! I'm always happy with that, lol. Moving on... I saw the spoiler on your blog about Faith's epilepsy so I wasn't surprised about her needing her meds soon. XD, half a familiar face. I do wonder how Trowa never changed his hair all that time... Smart Faith saying she had to use the bathroom. Though I felt bad about it, I laughed at "Your wife is having an affair and you have nothing to say about it?" I was like uh oh, that reporter is gonna get it... Heero's glare would've set a lot of people on edge. Trowa noticing that they were stupid enough not to bring a female accomplice, that made me laugh. For some reason I knew it would be Trowa to say something like that. Yay that they have a plan!

Good chapter, though definitely tense. I still feel it could've been a stronger chapter if there was more to it, but that's really up to you.

I'm sorry about you having to do inventory at work and your next few days going to be hell, I hope they're not as bad as you think they'll be! :)

I prefer reading finalised stories (somehow I get dissapointed how many promising fiction breaks of somewhere in the middle, never to be continued). I Read up to ch07 - it's promising. The start was a bit wacky, but the story is progressing strongly and is a good read.

Hope you keep up this good work. Can't wait to read more of your work!

This story is moving along great! I'm starting to like Faith. But there are still so many things we (the readers) don't know! Please have Heero tell the full story soon, it's killing me. Dang cliffhanger. I really like the idea you have going; I really like to think about the pilots post-war. I think it's kind of funny that Wufei hasn't been mentioned once, I don't know why, but it's kind of funny.

I have a question. in chapter One you wrote that heero's daughter had been presumed dead and missing for 13 years and that he never recovered and relena kicked him out once she decided to start living- But then you said that he had dumped his daughter on Duo. So this doesn't really make sense, if he dumped her with duo then how had he never recovered? or was there more than one daughter? Did relena know she was with duo? well i'll keep reading maybe it'll make sense later. but that was my only concern since both things didn't really make sense with each other.
