This chapter has been my favorite so far. I loved the reaction shots of the team, and Brenda telling off Pope (and giving Fritz some credit) was fantastic.

You did give the angst warning, but I was still unprepared.

Excellent chapter. I thought the wrap up was especially well done, and the baseball scene was sweet.

I am so enjoying this story, and I had an irreverent thought/request that I felt compelled to share with you. Is there any chance that you could be sweet-talked into writing a parody of this story? All of the intra-office "relations" reminded me of a Grey's Anatomy episode where everyone has to be tested for STDs due to all of the sleeping around. I thought, especially given how well you write Raydor, that such a plotline written by you would be HYSTERICAL.

That said, this story is really great. I don't tend to accept the premise of Brenda cheating on Fritz, but I think you've done a great job of writing her in a way that makes that plotline believable (even for me!). I also really liked Raydor's analysis of Brenda, and I'm looking forward to reading the rest of this story!

Loved the last scene, so much love and tenderness. I like this chapter a lot.
