This fic is poignantly beautiful. Imo, you did a good job of writing a hurt/comfort fic, despite being more comfortable with fluff/humor. Kudos to you!)

is sad..and i hate their relatonship to be like this...but truly it can't be in another way...he has too much to mend

Beautiful! And I have to say that my favorite part is actually your comparison in the very beginning between surgery and washing dishes
With quiet, steady precision, Sakura washes the dishes on the sink, much like she would operate a dying patient on a hospital table. It is an odd comparison, even unfair a life is not like dishes, easily replaced. But she doesn't mind this oddness. Soap, sponge, water the cycle goes on, one after the other, until everything looks new and shiny and she can place them again neatly on the wooden kitchen cabinet.

It set the tone of the fic nicely!

Oh my gosh this is so emotional. I loved it to no end sasusaku ftw!
