Wow.! This story was absolutely amazing and I thiink you know it ;) You portray what Eli and Clare might be thinking very beautifully, and this story was breath-taking! Definitely adding to my favs :)

Can totally envision these thoughts in their heads - at least what I would hope to be their thoughts about each other. You've done a great job of capturing all the senses surrounding the promo & bringing it more to life.

Did you see that promo, first off, how did Eli mistake Imogen for Clare? They have the same jean jacket, but ther hair Eli? So not happening. And Alli was all 'look here, it's a heartthrob. I'll leave you alone to go be cute with Dave who has Sadie, his girlfriend now and I have rejected before so you could be happy and then bump into said heartthrob and possibly kiss or something' Then Eli went all Taylor Swift, 'CLARE, YOU BELOOONG WITH MEEEEEEEE!' and it was angsty. And somewhere along the way, Marisol got screentime.

But oh yes, your fic. I'm glad for it. See, Degrassi fic is great when written well. Finding good fanfiction is like searching for oil in America. Scarce. Rare. But still good. So it's reeled me back in, especially after this promo. I don't quite think Eli sees what he's done as over-the-top or mentally unstable, he just wants Clare back.

It is quite lovely and this disastrously long review is coming to a close at the hands of the craving for more wonderful Degrassi fic. I feel like Edward Cullen.

...My attempt to write this scene completely fails in comparison to this.
