Well it's suddenly much easier to sympathize with the so-called villains of various fairy tales and children's stories. I've always found it curious how they usually happen to be wolves...But I digress. I think this is a quite brilliant work that you've turned from play into story. It's pretty different from your usual stories in that it utilizes dialogue a lot more probably the result of it being based off a play which I enjoyed a lot. I don't think it got tedious at all, anywhere. And of course, humanity never fails to disappoint even in stories. I liked how you told it from both the humans' point of view and the wolves'. Fantastic fic
