I like where this is going. What did you drop this fanfic, it maybe not about Paulo. But it is still a really good fanfic!

I think you did a good job with the Lucy-Paulo dialogue and managed to capture the dynamic of their interaction pretty well. I especially liked how Lucy teased Paulo about his obvious feeling for Daisy (which he would never admit), then Paulo turns that around and teases Lucy about her feelings for him (which she would never admit).

Also, in both this chapter and the last, you did a good job of conveying the feelings of your characters through the tone of your narration, something I definitely like to see in peoples' writing.
