I absolutely loved this chapter! I just couldn't keep still while reading. So serious, I was probably grinning from ear to ear the entire time. It's starting to get really good now, though. Hopefully Vlad will find a way around Walter, and I'm wishing the best for both Pip and Seras as well.

Please, I need a Chapter 16, or else I will die of suspense.

An interesting story. I do like the history you have mixed in with the character interactions. Women really did get a raw deal back in the day.
Random thought, final chapter with a scene from the Bram Stoker movie where he abandons God and becomes a vampire, because of his wife's suicide at news of his death. And a flash forward to Alucard remembering all of this, and considering how no matter the age he is always with the same people hehe.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing where you go with it.

I know Vlad the impaler had a first wife who we don't know much about not even her name and they had a son called Mihena the Bad a name well deserved as he murdered his half brothers by his father's second marriage to Ilona an hungarian noblewoman. What im wondering is Seras going to be playing the unknown first wife and Integra will be playing the part of Ilona? Not that i support Alucard and Seras i see their reletionship in the terms of family but it would make sense for the regent to bind Vlad's loyalties closer to him by giving him is yonger daughter and then giving his elder daughter to a much more important ally. If thats so not only is Seras in love with another man her life ends tragically if you know the history of Vlads first marriage. I love your story its so rare to have a good history fic!

That chapter was far too short! As always the chapter was worth the wait though and a wonderful read! Anticipating the next update! I'm also anxious for Victor to come into the story only because I'm hoping it will push Vlad and Integra closer together! Er what's up with Integra's mother? Anyways great chapter!

Very interesting premise. And original, it is not often that one finds a unique piece like this in fanfiction. Historical fiction is normally not something that interests me very much at all, but you have kept the attitudes and dispositions of the characters just modern enough to make the setting anachronistic but relatable. That is a hard balance to strike. I have not finished reading this piece as yet, but I have noticed a definite increase in confidence and quality as the chapters progress, and how startlingly fast that is occuring. Speaking personally, it took a great deal of time to improve my own writing, but you seem to do so with great and consistent speed.
Are your early chapters a little bit messy? Yes, but obviously none of us have access to a full time editor, and god knows I never wanted to go back and revise my earlier work. Besides, in the little writing I have done I have found that the only way to be creative is to get a little bit messy. And in your case, it is a very good mess. Couldn't have made a better mess myself. Please make more.

I am completely enthralled by this tale you have spun, weaving history and legend around my favorite Hellsing characters. I must confess, the more I read, the more I am drawn in, and more often than not, lately I find myself reading this whilst imagining it as a series, the likes of which you'd find along side Game of Thrones, etc. Yes, it could certainly hold its own, what with the intrigue and depth of your characters. And as a major AxI fan, I'm seriously hooked even more! Thank you for not surrendering Seras to her standard, sheepish fate I also believe she can and will learn much from Integra. Now on to more Integra and Vlad awesomeness!

Love what you've done for Integra, very pleased to see that her fire did go out but those around her were more than willing to throw some fuel back towards her in the stylee of"For gods sake, you are a woman who plays with fire! Now look Integra, you've got two choices and we're fed up of waiting! Now you decide; are you the match or are you the kindling?
Loved the Pip and Alucard bonding create much more depth for both characters and I personally think Pip was getting a bit on the cameo side recently so its good to see him back on the stage for a bit.
