Wow. This story was absolutely amazing! You captured so perfectly the love/hate relationship between Potter and Malfoy (all of them). It was so beautiful and so painful at the same time. That's the reason I came looking for Harry Potter fanfic. That's it. Perfect. Nice job.

I really like this sort of Lucius. He should be like Ricky's dad in American Beauty, only being a brat to the kid because he thinks his son will turn out exactly like he did.
If you haven't seen American Beauty already, do so, and you'll know what I mean.

Heart-rendingly radiant! (Look, I use the same adjectives, I'm trying to say something new.) That just...glowed with emotion, beautifully woven from first to last. The shifting POV added wonderfully and your prose as always was absolutely breathtaking. My favorite part was Harry's dream (if it was Harry's?), the "Then, I realized I wanted it to be blood, so I could see that smile on your face." That left me speechless. Once again, your unsurpassed Malfoy/Potter writing leaves me stunned and reeling (in a definite good way). Most beautiful; amazing, glorious, poignant, wonderful job.

The way you wordeed everything, the descriptions, the interwoven POVs... It's all amazing! This is probably one of the best romance fics I've read (mind you, I tend not to read romance but this surpasses many of those stories floating around). I like your portrayal of Lucius, too... He's an interesting character, IMHO.
