This is great! Also I notice that you use names of characters from the Simarillion. I think it adds to the Elvsishness of the story. very well done and touching.

Wow, this story is right up there with Erin Lasgalen's "The Price of Freedom." I just wish this one was complete...don't guess there is any hope you'll ever get back to it? In any case, I was captivated by the story you were weaving around Legolas and Eowyn. I've always been a fan of well-done angst, and this is certainly well-done...heartbreakingly so, especially the conversation between Legolas and Aragorn after he finds out about Legolas's feelings for Eowyn.

To all who thinks Eowyn should not be with Faramir and she should be with Legolas:you are totally wrong!Faramir/Eowyn is the best and Eowyn wouldn't be good match at course in fanfiction everything is possible so everyone who likes some noncanon pairing write the fanfiction in a way to make those 2 characters look like being a good match even if in the canon they wouldn't go well together.

Faramir and Eowyn needed each other and Tolkien really did a great job he paired those two with Eowyn it would be just totally strange.

I've read a lot of fanfic, and on the rare occasion there'll be one that's in a league of it's own. This is one of them. Please consider coming back and finishing it. Doesn't matter how long it's been, there are a lot of people here who would love to see it continued.

I have recently gotten into the LOTR fandom and am in love with the Legolas/Eowyn pairing :D I had found some stories that I liked for them, ranging from "just okay" to "pretty good", but this? This is SO COOL! I love where you are taking the course of the story and how you kind of weave Legolas/Eowyn in to it without completely messing with the book's plot.
I particularly loved the explanation for how the "rumor" of Eowyn's unrequited love for Aragorn started. XD And the whole Eowyn at Helm's Deep thing you did was excellent.

I loved that you started with the capture of Gollum and followed Legolas from the point you started at. Even though I was waiting with bated breath for the Legolas/Eowyn stuff to start, I still found the earlier chapters totally satisfying. This is a very thorough story.
You keep everyone in character. I think you capture the emotions of Legolas quite nicely. We never really got to see inside the head of an Elf in love (tho I suppose we did get some glimpses with Arwen), but you are pulling it off with complete believability to me.
The romance itself is very nicely done. I normally don't like the whole "love at first sight" thing, but you really pulled it off well. It prolly helped that we got to see Legolas' thoughts and such. And Eowyn didn't seem to fall for him too immediately. Plus, she had seen him in that dream/vision, too, so we could assume she was struck with the same love at first sight deal that he was.
But, yeah, I don't know why I am over here telling you how you pulled off your own romance... lol I just tend to analyze things I like. :D

Please, please, PLEASE tell me that this isn't the last chapter you are going to post? I would LOVE to see this continue!

Oh, do come back and finish this. It's one of the most wonderful, well-written stories I've ever read in any fandom.

I'm re-reading this story because I need to. And this chapter was so beautifully written. And I don't wanna sound crude but finally! Some Eowyn-Legolas action! Even if it was only in Galadriel's mirror.)

I watched The Fellowship of the Ring for the first time in around four years last night, and my addiction to Lord of the Rings was inspired once more. I came across this fantastic story and found myself hooked. Such powerful, engaging writing almost addictive. You write Legolas so marvellously! I'm so eager for more, but I see this hasn't been updated for near four years. I think I'm going to cry...
